Zelda Reif is an illustrator, designer, and student from San Francisco, CA. She has a lifelong background in art and design, including studio courses in drawing, painting, and typography, experience creating eye-catching newspaper graphics for both print and digital publications, and pursuing ongoing personal illustration projects shared on social media.

Zelda is currently studying Environmental Science at UC Santa Barbara which has provided her many opportunites to explore both her passion for art and visual communication and her interest in the natural world. She has served as an illustrator and designer on a range of projects, including creating an interactive sound artwork conveying the threat of noise pollution on urban bird biodiversity, and creatively communicating research findings and data to the general public through illustrated zines.

She intends to continue to grow as a steward of the land by contributing her unique skill set to climate and biodiversity research, restoration efforts that sustain ecosystems and mitigate climate impacts, and honor the responsibility of caring for the land as a relationship passed forward to future generations.
